There are now three ways to purchase tickets, multi-film/event passes, individual tickets, and free tickets with donations of $125 or more.

Multi-Film/Event Passes

In addition to tickets for individual films (see below) we are also offering a multi-film pass and a North African Sephardic Festival Package. With our multi-film FlexPass you can reserve in advance, even before individual tickets go on sale, and save up to 33% over individual ticket prices. (Individual ticket prices, are $12 in advance for adults and $15 at the door, optional charge for select “food” events.) Special pricing for the North African Sephardic Festival is available with our Festival Package.

Save up to 33% over “at door” prices.

Our FlexPass entitles you to six tickets that can be used for any screening (other than opening night and premium events) for one year from date of purchase for which tickets are still available. For sold out screenings, FlexPass holders must be seated ten minutes before the screening begins.

After purchasing your FlexPass, you will have the opportunity to select the films you would like to see. You can make changes later, as long as seats are still available.

Tinghir-Jerusalem is filmmaker and historian Kamal Hachkar’s search for a community that has since vanished, the Berber Jews of Morocco. Hachkar is a Berber Muslim born in Tinghir, Morocco and raised in France. While he would return to Tinghir every summer with his family, it would be years before he discovered that the town once had a thriving Jewish community.

El Gusto is the story of a group of musicians, Muslim and Jewish, torn apart by history and brought together by music. It was uncovered when director/producer Safinez Bousbia was wandering the narrow streets of the Casbah of Algiers. A craftsman told her of Jewish and Muslim musicians who had performed side-by-side a popular style of music: Chaabi. This is their story and music.

Sephardic Sounds, Music of Morocco and Beyond with Vanessa Paloma brings the lyrical music of Jewish Morocco to Santa Fe audiences. Ms. Paloma is an international concert artist, recording artist and author who has performed on five continents. Of Moroccan heritage and currently living in Casablanca, Ms. Paloma is known for her repertoire of Sephardic music. She is joined by North African / Berber master musician, Fattah Abbou on the oud.

Cost is $35 per person.

Reserve early for an exploration of Moroccan cuisine through its spices. The talk is followed by a Moroccan family-style dinner with Sephardic influences and complimentary wine.
